1tablespoontaco or chili seasoning blend(gluten-free)
1 ½cupsBBQ sauce, divided (gluten and dairy free)
Instructions
Place the drumsticks in a large bowl and toss them with the spice blend until fully coated.
Stack the drumsticks in alternating directions so they fit well. Pour one cup of BBQ sauce evenly over the chicken.
Cook on low setting for 4-6 hours until the meat is tender and fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
If desired, crisp the skin. Place the cooked drumsticks on a baking sheet. Brush with extra BBQ sauce and broil for 2-3 minutes per side, watch carefully to prevent burning.
