Green Juice That Is Naturally Delicious And Simple
This easy green juice recipe is packed with spinach, cucumbers, lemon and apples! Full of fruits and veggies, this juice is natural, healthy and delicious. The ingredient list has no artificial additives, sweeteners or flavor enhancers. What's more, its preparation is unbelievably simple and quick.
How Does It Taste?
This juice is a very interesting combination of flavors. It will please anyone who likes fruit and vegetable fusions.
In this green juice, spinach has a mild flavor. Because spinach is readily available any time of year, it is one of the most popular greens for juicing. Its flavor blends well with other vegetables and fruits.
Cucumber is a great addition to juices - it tastes mild and adds plenty of water and lemon adds freshness.
Green apple is an awesome sweetener for green juices. It is inexpensive and balances the earthiness of greens and the acidity of lemon. Because the apples are naturally sweet, so there's no need to add extra sugar - everything is perfectly balanced with the acidity of the lemon, so it's neither too sweet nor too sour.
But if you find the juice too tart for your taste, you may consider adding an extra apple or possibly adding a tablespoon of honey.
What Accessories Are Needed To Make Green Juice?
This juice is best made in a Vitamix high powered blender. With its help, the whole thing is quick, easy and mess-free.
Here is a link to the Vitamix blender we used.
To make this green juice in the Vitamix you need to chop the vegetables into small pieces, put them in the blender container, and puree. Then run the mixture through a fine-mesh and that’s it! Nothing else is needed.
However, if you don't have Vitamix, you can make this juice in a juicer and the result will still be great. Your juice will be clear while retaining all the necessary nutritional values. If you’d prefer a juicer, feel free to check out this guide to cheap juicers.
Whichever way you choose, preparing this juice literally takes no more than 10 minutes.
How to Make This Green Juice Step By Step
Preparing this juice is a breeze, truly. It only takes a few moments and a few simple steps to prepare this.
Wash and chop all the ingredients, place them in your Vitamix and blend. Since the juice made in the Vitamix is full of pulp, it is best to strain it. I like to use a nut milk bag for this purpose, but you can also use a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer. Be careful not to squeeze the bag too hard - proceed gently.
After straining all the juice, mix in one and a half cups of cold water (you can use sparkling if you prefer) and your juice is ready. Et voilà! You don't even have to peel the cucumber or apples, they just need to be sliced.
If you are using a juicer - follow the same instructions, just omit the extra step of straining.
Tips To Keep In Mind
This green fruit and vegetable juice is best when drunk immediately after being prepared, but you can make it a day in advance. If you make it ahead of time, store it in glass, tightly sealed containers or bottles in the refrigerator and shake before drinking.
Green Juice Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 medium green apples
- 1 medium seedless cucumber
- 4 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 1 small lemon
- 1½ cups cold fresh water (you can use sparkling water)
- 4 slices of lemon optional (for decoration)
Instructions
- Wash and dry all vegetables. Cut the apples and cucumber into pieces, small enough to be easily blended. Discard apple cores.
- Cut the lemon in half, cut off the yellow peel. Cut into slices and remove the seeds.
- Place the apple, cucumber, lemon, and baby spinach in your Vitamix and blend until perfectly smooth.
- Strain your juice through a fine-mesh: place your nut milk bag over a large jug and pour the green puree into the bag. Gently squeeze the mixture to separate the juice from the pressings. It is best to do this in batches.
- Add one and a half cups of cold water. Mix to combine.
- Pour into glasses. Garnish with lemon slices, if desired. You can also serve with ice cubes.

This recipe looks great and is a great option for anyone without a juicer who wants to try green juice. I'm curious why you recommend seedless cucumbers?
