Easy Pie Crust Recipe - paleo, gluten-free, grain-free

This is my favorite quick and easy pie crust recipe. With just three ingredients, this simple crust is gluten-free, low carb, keto, and paleo.

And with no added sweeteners, it works with either sweet or savory recipes. Of course, you can always add a little sweetener, spices, or herbs to complement your filling.

    Quick and easy pies

What I like about this pie crust is that there is no rolling involved. It's more like a crumb crust than a traditional pie crust and one of the simplest pastries you can make.

Just mix the almond flour with melted ghee, and press it into the pie plate in an even layer. Make sure the top edges are the same thickness as the rest of the crust so they don't brown too quickly.

Pro tip: use a glass to flatten the bottom and even out the sides.

Pre-bake the pie crust for 10 minutes if you're using a baked filling. If you're not baking the filling, bake the crust until it's lightly browned. Fill this easy crust with your favorite filling. I'm making a chocolate walnut pie with it today.

This recipe is so easy you can whip up a pie any time. Here are a few gluten-free filling ideas to get you started!

This looks great! Can I use coconut oil instead though?

Nicole, I haven't tested this recipe with coconut oil. If you try it, let me know how it turns out!
